“This is the best book I’ve read about why American servicemembers feel isolated when they come home. Moreover, it’s applicable to civilian American lives as well — especially for those who live in the suburbs surrounded by a ‘community’ they never really know or invest in.” Tom K., US Marine
The Complete Skinny on Obesity: From University of California Television, this program digs deep into the causes of the obesity epidemic in America.
“NO a calorie is not a calorie. What we eat matters! For all parents The Skinny On Obesity is a great documentary to watch.” Katie B., US Army Spouse

The Handmaid’s Tale: A dark and disturbing television series based on Margaret Atwood’s 1985 dystopian novel.
“I have been meaning to read the book; but for a lack of time, I have been watching the show. No huge spoiler here, but some scenes show other women being nasty to other women and we see men calling women whores/sluts in public; it feels like America currently—except this show takes it a step further and women become conjugates for elite families where their only value is in their ability to produce children, with no choice. It’s like The Handmaid’s Tale is a revelation of American women’s futures if people do not wake up. Watch with care, make sure you are in a good place mentally because this show, in my opinion, is a great example of what some people mean when they say, ‘Let’s make America great again.’” Nicole P., US Marine Corps Veteran
Revisionist History: Malcom Gladwell explains the misunderstood and overlooked.
“If you listen to only one edition of this podcast, let it be The Lady Vanishes. At first glance, it’s about a simple painting… but about 15 minutes in, you’ll realize it’s about so much more. You will re-look at the last election and go ah-ha!” Angie D., US Air Force Spouse
